Day 1: Arrive in Port Elizabeth
Your guide will meet you at Port Elizabeth airport after your flight and take you to your place of accommodation in Port Elizabeth for the night.

Day 2: Addo Elephant Park
Leaving Port Elizabeth after breakfast we will make our way to the Addo Elephant Park, which is home to many of Africa’s big game. There is an optional night game drive this evening with the park’s qualified guides (own cost).

Day 3: Graaff-Reinet
After another game drive this morning we leave the park and make our way north-west towards the town of Graaff-Reinet, in the heart of the Great Karoo. Graaff-Reinet is the fourth oldest town in South Africa, and is well-known for its magnificent old Cape Dutch architecture.

Day 4: Tsitsikamma National Park
Leaving Graaff-Reinet we make our way south once again, towards the coast and Tsitsikamma National Park, one of South Africa’s best-kept secrets. Boasting exceptional hiking trails and superb coastal scenery, Tsitsikamma is a destination many people will return to.

Day 5: Tsitsikamma National Park
Today is a free day for you to explore some of the many hiking trails in the park. There is also an option to do a Canopy Tour in the Tsitsikamma Forest (own cost).

Day 6: Plettenberg Bay
Leaving the park after breakfast we will travel along the coast towards Plettenberg Bay. For those in need of an adrenalin boost we will stop off on the way at the famous Bloukraans Bridge, home to the world’s highest bungee jump at 216m!

Day 7: Knysna
This morning starts off with an Ocean Safari in the Plettenberg Bay area.
We will then continue along the coast to Knysna, in time for lunch at one of the most famous restaurants in the area (own cost). Knysna is the heart of the Garden Route, and your guide will take you for a short drive to the beautiful Knysna heads this afternoon.

Day 8: Outdshoorn
Leaving Knysna after breakfast we will continue further along the coast, passing through Wilderness and George, before turning inland towards Outdshoorn. We will visit the Cango Caves for an hour or two, and also an ostrich farm where you will have the opportunity to ride an ostrich, the biggest bird in the world!

Day 9: Cape Agulhas
Today takes us back to the coast and to Cape Agulhas, the southern-most point of Africa, where you can spend the afternoon exploring the town.

Day 10: Hermanus
There is an option this morning to go shark cage diving and also possibly a Great White Shark watching excursion (both at own cost). We will then make our way to Hermanus where we will spend the night.

Day 11: Stellenbosch
Leaving the coast once again today we head towards Stellenbosch, home to many famous wine estates, for some wine tasting. On clear days the magnificent mountain scenery in this area makes for a truly memorable day.

Day 12: Cape Town
Today takes us to our final destination, Cape Town. There will be time this afternoon for you to explore this truly multicultural city.

Day 13: Cape Town
Today your guide will take you on a Cape Peninsular tour. We will start the day off with a visit to Table Mountain, followed by lunch in one of the restaurants in the harbour at Hout Bay. This afternoon we will make our way to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Cape Point is known for its spectacular views overlooking the ocean. If you take a walk to the lighthouse you can also, at times, see the swells where the two oceans (Indian Ocean & Atlantic Ocean) meet. Leaving Cape Point we will head to Simonstown, where we will stop off for a quick visit to the Cape Penguins, before making our way back to Cape Town.

Day 14: Cape Town
Today is a free day for you to enjoy the city.
As tonight is the last night of the tour we will have dinner out at one of the many fantastic restaurants that Cape Town has to offer (own cost).

Day 15: End of Tour
The tour finishes this morning after breakfast. If you are flying out today, your guide will be happy to organise an airport transfer for you.
