Day 1: Panoramic Route
Departing early from Johannesburg we head off the plateau towards the Panoramic Route, stopping en-route for breakfast (own cost). Once in the Panorama region we will see some stunning views at God’s Window and the Blyde River Canyon. Leaving the beauty of the 3rd largest canyon in the world we make our way through the mountains to our overnight stop, Timbavati Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Kruger National Park
Leaving the lodge we make our way to the Kruger National Park, home to 147 mammal (including the Big 5), 114 reptile, & 502 bird species.
Once through the gates of the Kruger we will be on the lookout for wildlife en route to our camp. After setting up camp you will have a chance to relax for a couple of hours before heading out on a sunset game drive with your experienced Kruger National Park guide. This drive lasts between 3 and 3.5 hours, which gives you the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife. On your return your guide will have dinner ready for you.

Day 3: Kruger National Park
Starting the day early you will head out on a full day’s open vehicle game drive with an experienced Kruger guide, who will drop you off back at camp in the afternoon.
A second optional sunset game drive, or a night game drive, can be arranged should you wish (own cost).

Day 4: South Africa – Mozambique (Bilene)
After breakfast we leave the Kruger National Park and make our way to Mozambique. After the border procedures we will make our way up to beautiful Bilene, a small town surrounded by inland lakes.

Day 5: Bilene
After an early morning swim in the clear waters of the inland lake that stretches for 27 km, breakfast is served, after which you can relax on the beach at our campsite, watch the fishermen at work, and chat to the locals. There is a local market where you can find an assortment of curios, and a walk through town is a must. Your local guide will accompany you on a boat trip across the lake to the shores of the Indian Ocean, and from there on a short hike along the beach to where you will have the opportunity to observe the Hawksbill, Green and Leather-back Turtles that make this area their home.

Days 6, 7: Barra Reef Beach
Leaving Bilene the road takes us north through this awesome tropical country. There will be stops along the road for you to enjoy some of the views and also to do some shopping. Once through Inhambane we will make our way down to the Barra Reef area for your diving.

Days 8, 9: Tofo Beach
A short drive from Barra takes us to Tofo, where your guide will organize an Ocean Safari for you on this day (Day 8). You will swim amongst Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and, at certain times of the year, even Turtles.
Dives: 2 (Day 9).

Day 10: Mozambique – South Africa (Marloth Park)
After time spent on the pristine beaches, our journey takes us back to South Africa, bypassing Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. Once across the border, it is just a short drive to Marloth Park, where we will spend the night.
Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary close to the Kruger National Park, where you are very likely to see animals such as warthog and impala in the streets and gardens. This being the last night of the tour, we will enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 11: Return to Johannesburg
Leaving Marloth Park after breakfast we make our way back to Johannesburg, where the tour ends.
