With the Cape Peninsula being declared a nature reserve it has been imperative to fly helicopters that have the least impact on the environment. Cape Town Helicopters has taken the lead in Cape Town by purchasing a range of Airbus Helicopters. These machines are some of the few helicopters in the world that are certified to operate in noise sensitive areas. They are certified at 60 decibels flying at 1500 feet. This is the accepted noise limit for sensitive areas. So when you fly with us you are not spoiling someone else’s day in the Cape Peninsula Nature Reserve.

Fly to Groot Constantia or Steenberg Estate for wine tasting and lunch Description Upon departure, at the V&A Waterfront, the Cape Town Helicopters pilot will embark on a scenic flight via Hout Bay on route to Groot Constantia OR Steenberg Wine Estate. The vineyards are tucked in the steep valley on the eastern side of Table Mountain. Both wine estates are an important part of World Wine Heritage and world-class international tourism destinations.

Children below 12 months are welcome at no charge. Children 1 to 8 years are welcome and receive a 50% discount off the adult price when accompanied by 2 full paying adults.

Flight to Groot Constantia OR Steenberg is approx. 15minutes. Guests should ideally have a basic level of health. Minimum 2 guests needed per flight. Wheelchair Friendly. 72 hours lead time for this booking.

Inclusions Private Helicopter Flight. Experience 3 ² 4 hours in Total. Spending approximately 2.5 to 3 hours at the estate. Transfer to and from Cape Town CBD Hotels.
