Departing from your hotel, the road takes you down to Muizenberg, Kalk bay and Simons town, and then to boulders beach and the African penguin colony.
The African penguin, also known as Cape penguin or South African penguin, is a species of penguin confined to southern African waters. Like all extant penguins, it is flightless, with a streamlined body and wings stiffened and flattened into flippers for a marine habitat.
After your visit at boulders beach, we make our way up to the Cape point nature reserve.
Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 metres above the sea and cutting deep into the ocean, provide a spectacular background for the park’s rich bio-diversity. Cape Point falls within the southern section of Table Mountain National park. The natural vegetation of the areas – fynbos – comprises the smallest but richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms.
From Cape point nature reserve the road take you through the small town of Kommitjie and then over the spectacular drive over Chapmans Peak drive and down to Hout bay for your lunch stop. (Own cost).
Hout Bay is a harbour town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is situated in a valley on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula, twenty kilometres south of Cape Town. The name “Hout Bay” can refer to the town, the bay on which it is situated, or the entire valley.
After lunch we make our way back to Cape Town along the eastern Seaboard and then through Camps, sea oint and back to Cape Town.
Your dricer/guide will then drop you of at your lodge or hotel.
